Fall Financial Aid
The first disbursement date for fall is Monday, August 22. If you are enrolled full-time, financial aid will apply to your bill on this date. The first fall e-bill was sent by Student Business Services on August 1. If the pending financial aid reflected on your e-bill is equal to or greater than the total due, no payment is required. If pending financial aid is less than the total due, please pay the difference by the due date to avoid late fees. Please note that the e-bill is a snapshot of your account as of a specific time. To view your account in real-time, please visit your Account Inquiry.

Summer Financial Aid
The first disbursement date for summer is Tuesday, July 19. Summer financial aid will not apply to students’ balances until this date. The summer term consists of all Summer Sessions. For this reason, financial aid eligibility will be reviewed following the last add/drop date of Summer Session II. If your anticipated financial aid will not cover your balance and you do not pay the difference prior to your bill due date, a late fee will be assessed.
All UMBC students and applicants with a UMBC Campus ID may now submit a General Scholarship Application through Scholarship Retriever to be considered for Fall 2022 – Spring 2023 institutional scholarships.
